Prayers for Wholeness
Scripture Foundation
Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (NIV)
Matthew 6:9-13 reminds us to pray like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." (NIV)
1 Thessalonians 5:17 encourages us to "pray without ceasing." May we cultivate a heart of prayer and thanksgiving, trusting in God's goodness and guidance.
Prayer Guide
Take a few minutes to quiet your mind and heart before God. Allow the peace of God to surpass all understanding as you pray:
Prayer Points
- May my heart and mind be filled with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
- For clarity to know the will of God in all my decisions.
- May I continually offer to God prayers and thanksgivings, with my requests made known to him.
- For a humble and contrite spirit that seeks God's guidance.
- May I not worry about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, present my requests to God.
- May my prayers be like incense before You, Lord, the fragrance of my worship and adoration.
- For the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, that I may be blameless and harmless, a son of God without fault in a troubled world.
Declarations of Faith
