Finding God's Peace in Turmoil
Scripture Foundation
In Philippians 4:6-7, Paul writes, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Similarly, Isaiah 26:3 assures us that "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." John 14:27 reminds us that "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." And Psalm 131:2 proclaims, "My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him." These scriptures serve as a foundation for our prayer journey, reminding us of God's sovereignty and the peace He offers in the midst of turmoil.
