Practicing the Presence of Peace

In the midst of chaos and uncertainty, we can find peace in the presence of God. This 30-minute spiritual exercise will guide you to cultivate a deeper sense of peace and trust in God's sovereignty.

Scripture Foundation

Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." John 14:27 reminds us, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Isaiah 26:3 promises, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you." Matthew 6:25-27 encourages us to seek God's kingdom and store up treasures in heaven, saying, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap. They do not store in barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life-span?"
