Opening Reflection

As mothers, we face many challenges, but none as daunting as the stormy seasons. Life can feel like a turbulent sea, with waves crashing against our shores, threatening to overwhelm us. Yet, in the midst of the turmoil, we must find a way to stay anchored.

Scripture Focus

"Come, Lord Jesus, walking on the water. He went out to them, walking on the lake. When he saw his disciples straining at the oars, he went out to them, walking on the lake. But when he saw that they were straining at the oars, not making headway, he went out to them, walking on the lake. He intended to pass by them." - Matthew 14:28-31

Main Message

In this moment, Jesus shows us that even in the midst of turmoil, He is always present and in control. As mothers, we often feel like we're struggling to stay afloat, but Jesus is walking on the lake, beckoning us to come to Him. He intends to pass by us, to guide us through the storm. In Psalm 23:4, we read that "Your rod and your staff comfort me." Just as the shepherd's rod and staff guide and comfort his sheep, Jesus' presence guides and comforts us in the storm. We don't have to be afraid, for He is our rock and our salvation. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us that "God is able to bless you with every blessing in heaven." In the midst of the storm, we can trust that God is able to provide for us. Colossians 1:23 tells us that "you have been strengthened in your inner being with power through the Spirit." We are strong in Christ, and He will see us through the storm. So, dear mothers, take a deep breath and remember that Jesus is walking on the lake, guiding you through the storm. Trust in His presence and power. You are not alone.
