Praying Through the Storms of Life
Scripture Foundation
Psalm 130:5 says, "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I hope." Job 38:1 reminds us, "Who is this that hides counsel from me, in whose hand is the breath of every human being, that takes away the breath of the understanding like a torrent?" Matthew 8:24-27 tells the story of Jesus calming the storm on the sea. And Mark 4:35-41 describes Jesus' words to His disciples, "Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?" Let's anchor our prayers in these scriptures and trust in God's sovereignty.
