Praying for Peace in Turmoil
Scripture Foundation
John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Isaiah 26:3 promises, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you." Psalm 34:14 encourages us to "turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." And Colossians 3:15 reminds us to "let the peace of Christ keep guard over your hearts and minds." As we pray, we'll anchor our hearts in these promises and ask for the peace that only comes from God.
