Rooted in Gratitude
Scripture Foundation
"And whatever you do, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." - Colossians 3:17 (NIV)
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and bless his name." - Psalm 100:4 (NIV)
Main Content
Gratitude is a powerful tool in our spiritual arsenal. When we focus on what we have, rather than what we lack, we cultivate a sense of contentment and trust in God's sovereignty. This mindset also shapes our relationships with others, as Ephesians 5:20 reminds us to "give thanks for every blessing." In Psalm 107:1, we're encouraged to "give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever!" By practicing gratitude, we're able to see God's goodness and love more clearly.
