Rooted in Gratitude

As we journey through this season of growth, let us cultivate a deep sense of gratitude in our hearts, just as Paul exhorts us in Colossians 3:15-17. May our gratitude overflow to God, just as the psalmist writes in Psalm 100:4-5.

Scripture Foundation

Colossians 3:15-17 says, "Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalm, hymn, and song, singing from your hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (NIV) Psalm 100:4-5 declares, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name." (NIV)

Main Content

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in our worries and struggles, forgetting to express gratitude to God. But what if we were to intentionally cultivate a sense of gratitude in our daily lives? What if we were to see every circumstance, no matter how difficult, as an opportunity to offer thanksgiving to our Heavenly Father? Ephesians 5:20 reminds us, "Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (NIV) Hebrews 13:15 encourages us, "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that open to honor his name." (NIV)
