Rooted in God's Word
Scripture Foundation
In Jeremiah 15:16, God says, "When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you." Psalm 119:11 encourages us to "store up" God's words in our hearts, that we might not sin against Him. Joshua 1:8 reminds us to study and apply God's Word daily, saying, "Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in all you do." Finally, Colossians 3:2 instructs us to set our minds on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
