Practicing the Presence of God
Scripture Foundation
Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." This verse reminds us that God is present whenever we come together in the name of Jesus. Psalm 139:1-4 declares, "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my coming in; you perceive my resting and my sojourning." God is intimately aware of our daily experiences and is always with us.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and Colossians 3:3 says that we have been raised with Christ and our lives should reflect this new reality. This means we can live from a place of unity with God, where our thoughts, words, and actions align with His presence.
