Practicing the Presence of God
Scripture Foundation
When two or three gather in my name, I am there with them." - Matthew 18:20
You were also called to freedom, brothers and sisters. Only do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Galatians 5:13

As we go about our daily routines, it's easy to feel like we're just going through the motions. But what if we could learn to recognize and respond to God's presence in every moment? The Bible tells us that God is always with us, even when we can't see Him.
In Colossians 3:3, Paul writes, "For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." This means that our true selves are hidden with Christ in God, and that our lives are not our own. When we surrender our lives to God, we open ourselves up to His presence and power.
In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, Paul reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. This means that we are sacred spaces where God dwells. When we recognize this, we begin to treat our bodies as sacred and honor God's presence within us.
