Practicing the Presence of God

In this 30-minute exercise, we'll explore the importance of recognizing and experiencing God's presence in our daily lives.

Scripture Foundation

Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." This verse reminds us that Jesus is always present when we gather with others in His name. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 declares, "What? Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" This passage highlights the incredible truth that the Holy Spirit resides within us.

Psalm 139:7-12 speaks to God's constant presence in our lives, saying, "Where shall I go from thy Spirit? Or where shall I flee from thy presence?" (v. 7). This psalmist acknowledges that God is always with him, even in the midst of chaos. In Luke 17:3-4, Jesus teaches us to live in the world but not of it, reminding us that our identity is rooted in Him.
