Practicing the Presence of God

As we embark on this journey, may we be reminded that God's presence is not limited by time or space, but is always with us, guiding and directing our steps.

Scripture Foundation

In Matthew 18:20, Jesus teaches us that "where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." This profound truth reveals God's omnipresence, His ability to be with us always, regardless of our circumstances.

Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us that God's knowledge of us is intimate and all-encompassing: "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my paths." (NIV)

Colossians 3:3-5 encourages us to put to death our earthly nature and to live in Christ, where we are hidden with Him in God the Father. This surrender allows us to experience the freedom and peace that comes from being fully present in the present moment.

Hebrews 13:5-6 reminds us that God is our constant companion, ever-present and faithful: "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'" (NIV)
