Faith is not about having all the answers or understanding the mysteries of God's ways. It's about embracing the unknown and trusting in His sovereignty. In Hebrews 11:1, we're told that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. This means that faith isn't about seeing with our eyes or understanding with our minds, but about believing with our hearts. God's ways are beyond human understanding (Job 28:23-28), and we must learn to trust in His wisdom, even when it doesn't make sense to us. As Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, God's thoughts are higher than our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. This means that we must humble ourselves before God, acknowledging that we don't have all the answers. When we pray, we must approach God with humility and trust, knowing that He knows what we need before we ask (Matthew 6:6). We mustn't try to manipulate or control God through our words or actions, but rather surrender to His sovereignty and trust in His goodness.Learning Objectives
