Opening Reflection
When life shatters our dreams, it's easy to feel lost and uncertain about the future. Yet, in the midst of brokenness, God is working to bring new life and hope.
Scripture Focus
"Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." - Job 42:5-6 (NIV)
Main Message
Job's story is one of shattered dreams. He lost his family, his health, and his livelihood. Yet, despite his suffering, he refused to turn away from God. Instead, he trusted in His sovereignty and goodness. In Job 42:5-6, we see Job's remarkable declaration of faith: "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him." This is a powerful example for us when our own dreams are shattered. We can choose to trust in God's goodness, even when we don't understand His ways.
