Opening Reflection
In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of responsibilities and tasks. We often find ourselves standing on shaky ground, unsure of where we're headed or how we'll get there. But today, let's take a moment to reflect on the foundation of our faith.
Scripture Focus
"Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock." - Matthew 7:24-25 (NIV)
Main Message
In Matthew 7:24-25, Jesus teaches us that our faith is like building a house on solid rock or shifting sand. When we put our trust in Him, we're building on the rock of His wisdom and guidance. But when we try to go it alone or rely on our own strength, we're building on shaky ground. The stormy winds of life may come, but with a foundation rooted in Christ, we'll stand firm.
Reflection Questions
