Embracing Enough in a World of More
As youth group leaders, we often feel the pressure to be enough for our students. To be the perfect role model, to have all the answers, to be the one who always has it together. But today, let's take a step back and remember that enough is, well, enough.
Scripture Focus
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
Main Message
In a world where comparison is the thief of joy, it's easy to get caught up in the cycle of never being enough. We compare our lives to others, and before we know it, we're feeling like we're falling short. But God doesn't call us to be enough; He calls us to seek Him first. When we prioritize His kingdom and His righteousness, He promises to add everything else we need. This isn't a formula for success; it's a promise of sufficiency.
