Main Teaching
As we navigate life's complexities, it's easy to lose sight of our purpose. But God desires for us to surrender our lives to His purposes. When we do, we'll find that our priorities shift from what the world values to what God values.
In Colossians 3:23-24, Paul reminds us that our work is not just about pleasing others, but about serving the Lord Christ. This means that we should approach our daily tasks with a sense of purpose and passion, knowing that our efforts are ultimately for God's glory.
Matthew 6:33 encourages us to seek God's kingdom and righteousness above all else. This doesn't mean that we should neglect our earthly responsibilities, but that we should prioritize what God values most – His kingdom and righteousness.
Romans 12:2 reminds us that we must be transformed by the renewing of our minds. This means that we need to regularly examine our thoughts and behaviors to ensure they align with God's will. When we do, we'll be able to test and approve what God's will is – His good, pleasing and perfect will.
Ephesians 5:15-16 encourages us to live wisely by making the most of the opportunities we have. This means being intentional with our time and energy, using them to serve God and others.
