Main Teaching
When we're faced with uncertainty, it's natural to feel lost and unsure of what lies ahead. However, Jesus invites us to fix our eyes on him, the author and perfecter of our faith. This means trusting in his sovereignty and submitting to his plan, even when it's unclear.
In Matthew 14:27, Jesus instructs his disciples to come and see. He's not asking them to follow him blindly, but rather to trust in his guidance and provision. Similarly, as we navigate life's uncertainties, we must trust in God's goodness and sovereignty, knowing that he has a plan for us.
Isaiah 48:12 reminds us to listen carefully to God's voice and eat what is good. This requires us to slow down, be still, and seek guidance from Scripture and prayer. When we do, we'll find that God is leading us down a path of prosperity and success.
Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. This means surrendering our plans and desires to God's sovereignty, knowing that he will make our paths straight.
